Woven Patches

Woven patches are produced on high-precision industrial weaving looms that interlace colored threads directly into the design — no stitching over a fabric base. The result is a thin, flat, extremely detailed patch that’s perfect for complex logos, fine text, and intricate patterns that would be impossible to achieve with standard embroidery.

Think of woven patches as the fabric equivalent of printing — they can reproduce fine lines, small lettering, and subtle color gradients far more faithfully than embroidery. They’re also lighter and lie flatter against garments, making them ideal for clothing labels and detailed badge designs.

When to Choose Woven Over Embroidery

Choose woven patches when your design includes text smaller than 1/4″, very thin lines or fine detail, detailed flag or crest designs, complex multi-color logos, or when you need a thinner, lighter patch. They’re widely used for clothing labels, military insignia, national flag patches, and brand tag replacements.
